Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda Needs New Beds and Staff, NOT a New Name! Locals To March this Saturday

Finally some right-minded people are getting together and are about to fight what appears to be a political correct attack on one of the country’s best known hospitals, Our Lady Of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda. We published a story that rocked far beyond the constraints of the County Louth border. After publication, thousands of comments, shares and messages have been posted and sent across Ireland showing people’s anger towards a politically correct proposed name change of Our Lady Of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda on the alleged suggestion that its Catholic name ‘Lourdes’ may cause offence to non Catholics. Now however the good people of Drogheda have decided to fight back. We’ve been informed that a march is scheduled to take place from the heart of the town outside Drogheda Town Centre on West St this Saturday at 3pm where groups of people will walk from West St through the town right up to the entrance of Our Lady Of Lourdes hospital protesting any s

Yellow Vest Ireland: Promise and Potential

The Yellow Vest movement reached Ireland this past Saturday (15/12/18), with approximately 200 people taking to the streets of Dublin in hi-vis vests, protesting among other things, the government of Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, and his regime of nanny-statism and extortionate taxation. However, at the demonstration, there was a clear divide between two different groups, roughly half and half in number. One group consisted of normal everyday Janes and Joes, new to street activism. The other, consisted of the usual bunch of Far Left types such as People Before Profit and #TakeBackTheCity activists. Neither side cooperated well, in chanting or even when it came to marching in the correct direction. By the time the procession made it to the Department of the Taoiseach, having started at the Customs House at 2pm, it had halved in number. It should have been obvious that this would happen before the crowd gathered outside the Customs House. In the weeks before the event,

Blue Vest Protest in France – angry police protest and close police stations!

French police are being urged close police stations on Wednesday as part of a protest over pay and conditions - including a demand to be paid the 23 million hours of overtime they are owed - as the government scrambles to quell growing unrest among the country's forces of law and order. After the yellow vests, it's now the turn of the blue vests (gilets bleus) to show their anger as French police unions are calling on officers to picket France's police stations on Wednesday and only answer emergency calls as they fight for better working conditions and pay. Talks were held between police unions and the Interior Minister Christophe Castaner on Tuesday but they failed to find a solution to quell the anger. On Wednesday, when talks will continue, police unions have urged members to "do the minimum" meaning only respond to emergencies. They have also been encouraged to block the entrances of local police stations (commissariats). One police union is promising a

Macron The Dictator Reinforces His Hitler Comparison By Arresting Yellow Vest Leader And Insulting Protesters!

Shouts of “dictatorship” were heard as one of the leaders of France’s anti-government Yellow Vest movement was arrested in Paris late on Wednesday, after authorities charged him with organizing and leading an unauthorized protest. Eric Drouet was detained by police as some of the movement’s supporters gathered in the capital’s Place de la Concorde, near the iconic Arc de Triomphe monument. People left candles in remembrance of the movement’s wounded in clashes with police. Drouet was detained while reportedly en-route to the memorial. Footage of the arrest shows several French riot police escort him away from the crowds while supporters chant his name while he is being led away. After that, several other protesters were grabbed from the crowd and led away by police while remaining Yellow Vests sang the national anthem. Tweeting his support for the man, left-wing politician Jean-Luc Melenchon called the arrest an “abuse of power,” and the target of p

Yet another Yellow Vest Organiser Jailed For Simply Attempting to Organise Protest in France!

A 28-year-old Frenchman has been sentenced to six months in jail after he published a Facebook post attempting to organize a ‘Yellow Vest’ blockade of a local petrol refinery, according to local reports. Hedi Martin was arrested in Port-La Nouvelle, southern France on January 3, shortly after publishing the post on Facebook, la Dépêche reports. In his post, Martin called for a ‘Yellow Vest’ blockade of the petrol refinery in the coastal town, urging people to “stand up to the CRS [riot police],” according to WSWS. State prosecutors noted video footage of Martin on his Facebook page at several Yellow Vest protests in the region, and criticized him for allegedly resigning from his short-term contract at a chocolate factory to “spend between four and seven hours every day” demonstrating. The state prosecutor had reportedly sought a harsher penalty of two years imprisonment and a three-year protesting ban. However, the fact that Martin had not actually

Arrogant Macron Says “I Am A Yellow Vest Too” If It Means A Higher Salary For Him!

After more than two months of Yellow Vest protests against the economic policies of the French government, President Emmanuel Macron claimed that he too could be a ‘yellow vest’ if the movement stands for higher salaries. “If being a yellow vest means wanting fewer parliamentarians and work being paid better, I am a yellow vest, too!” Macron said on Thursday in an attempt to align with the grassroots movement against economic injustice, which was born as a protest against the French government’s policies. In an interview with several French journalists (BFM TV, Paris Match, Le Figaro) he described the Yellow Vests as a social and political movement without “a fixed claim and leader,” as well as saying that it has “mutated” since its inception and has been “infiltrated by 40,000 to 50,000 militants who want the destruction of institutions.” Macron also spoke about the RIC – the “Citizens’ Initiative Referendum” – a referendum demanded
