Headline: 25 reasons to end Somali refugee resettlement now

This is a must-read story and a keeper.  Pass it out to friends and family and the next time you attend a public meeting, where refugee advocates will tell you that refugees aren’t terrorists and criminals, have your proof handy. Hohmann has compiled an eye-popping list of Somali criminals that surely is the tip of the iceberg because we only learn about new cases when some local media outlet has the guts to report on the nationality of an arrested perp, and if the story breaks out of the local community. Readers need to know that most Somalis in the US are here through the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program or through the chain migration it has spawned.

Israel ready to deport thousands to Africa, UN furious…

…but, get this: It turns out that many of the illegal alien/asylum seekers have been transported out of Israel to third countries. I had heard rumors that we are taking some of those! I just checked Wrapsnet and we did take 8 ‘refugees’ off Israel’s hands in October. (The November processing countries will be out […]

Mormon church donates $5 million to nine federal refugee resettlement contractors

And, it sure must be a welcome donation as the federal funds that most of the nine live off of are drying up. Salt Lake City’s Temple Square Photo:  https://www.mormonnewsroom.org/article/mormonism-in-pictures-temple-square-attracts-millions-of-visitors-14-june-2013 For new readers see my July post where I gave a recent accounting of their funding. One resettlement contractor featured in this story, Episcopal Migration […]

Comment worth noting: Many blind ‘conservatives’ in Minnesota

Editor: Occasionally we post guest comments/opinion pieces from readers.  This, below, is a comment a resident of Minnesota posted at this story last week: Headline: 25 reasons to end Somali refugee resettlement now Before you read Bob Carrillo’s comment, you might want to visit Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch yesterday about Republicans and Dems (pandering!) in the Minnesota state legislature by proposing to give nearly $20 million in taxpayer dollars to Somali community development (because of course we all know that poverty produces Islamic terrorists—NOT!).

US Conference of Catholic Bishops not happy with the President

So what else is new.  The USCCB, as readers know, is one of the nine major federal resettlement contractors*** that is being financially hurt by the slowdown in the refugee flow to Your Town, USA. But, they never tell the public that piece of important information when they wail about federal refugee policy changes. I […]

White House “New Senior Adviser for Refugees” still a mystery

Over a week ago, the Heritage Foundation tooted their horn in an e-mail that they had visited the White House with their “Roadmap for Reform” for the US Refugee  Admissions Program. You learned about that visit here. In their e-mail Heritage said this: Last Thursday, they briefed Admiral Hall on their report at the National […]

Austria: Mahmoud took the money and went home!

They are trying it all over Europe—paying the migrants (with taxpayers money) to go home! It is something we have advocated here as well.  Believe me, it is cheaper than incarceration and deportation and way cheaper than migrants of all stripes living (for years!) off the generosity of the US taxpayer for food, shelter, education […]

Supreme Court says Trump travel ban can be enforced for now

Truth be told, I never fully immersed myself in the travel ban issue as I saw it as separate from what I’ve been concentrating on. I’ve thought from the beginning that the President should never have mixed the two issues (US Refugee program and a travel restriction) in that first Executive Order and thus thoroughly […]

Is Minnesota’s welcome mat still out for refugees?

That is the question that the Twin Cities Pioneer Press seeks to answer in a longish article published yesterday. (Was it ever really out, or were Minnesotans kept in the dark and never asked?) Employing a technique we have become accustomed to seeing, reporter Bob Shaw uses a family as his ‘poster family’ that seems […]

US News and World Report takes notice of South Dakota refugee controversy

“Refugee resettlements and interfaith dialogue is a part of a war.” and genocide (State Senator Neil Tapio) If you missed it, please visit my previous post on South Dakota, here. Update January 12th: See what happened at the ‘Interfaith’ rally, here.  Also, see this incredible research on Taneeza Islam, here. In preparation for reading this […]
