Recently , in a seemingly never ending quest for a virtue signal by the Irish Government, all health regulations regarding animals coming into the country from Ukraine have been relaxed. Or to put it more bluntly , abolished. Ukraine still has Rabies in it’s animal population , Ireland is Rabies free. Could this cavalier approach to a frightening disease open up the possibility of a Rabies outbreak in Ireland ? Let’s investigate .
